I picked up my law CBE book, motivated to tick another exam off the list.
I’d been finding the content interesting. It was giving context to tasks I’d been doing at work, particularly where I’d used case law and legislation. And I wanted to learn the other topics too.
But I’d realised I’d left it too long. Too long since I last studied the material to when I’d picked it back up – there was probably a 3-month gap.
I had to go back and refresh the early chapters. My approach had not been time efficient.
Lisha, on the other hand, was super unfortunate.
She’d been studying to re-sit her final CTA exam, looking forward to becoming CTA qualified. She wanted to sit the exam in November, only a few months away.
But then she realised.
She realised the impossible task ahead of her.
Her previous passes had expired, and she needed to re-pass two CBEs in 5 weeks to sit the exam in November.
She spent every night after work for 5 weeks studying for these exams.
Her approach had to be efficient.
