TTPP99: Most Important Lessons I Learnt From My Time Being Tax Senior Manager

Back in December 2021, I was promoted to Employment Tax Senior Manager. It was about 3 months before I was expecting it, so it was a super happy moment.

Little did I know that Senior Manager was going to be the grade that, overall, I would least enjoy in my career!

In April 2024, I started a new role as Employment Tax Director, moving to a new firm.

Because of this milestone, I thought it would be nice to share 5 lessons from what learned from my time being Senior Manager, in the hope that it helps you with your tax career, stops you making the same mistakes I did, and/or you just find it interesting!
